Bob Horvath, my father, contributed the photos involved in the CD insert artwork, and also the photos featured in the "Creation Overture" video. On November 27, 2009, to everyone's shock, my father collapsed and died while he was out for a walk. It was reported to me that working on the video together (only a month before his death) was a highlight of his life. Mine too, Dad. Mine too. I miss you dearly.
Tribute to Bob Horvath
My eldest son, who contributed some percussion on several tracks, and also contributed with suggestions and (sometimes blunt!) comments to help make "Creation" better.
Sean contributed the vocal on "Adam's Song." The first time I slipped his vocal track in with the rest of the tracks in context, I sat at my desk, head in hands, and sobbed! I never imagined this song could sound so good! Well done, Sean!
Hannes violins, violas, and cellos were added to three songs: "Creation Overture," "Animals," and "Eve." The effect may be subtle, but it made all the difference.
Along with making some valuable suggestions (using live strings to enhance the sampled strings for "Creation Overture" for example), I worked with him on the mastering.
I had heard too many stories of independent artists submitting their mixes to be mastered in one marathon session only to be disappointed by the outcome. Andy's approach is to do his adjustments, burn a disc and then let me listen to it at home. I then take notes of further adjustments needed, or even send him new mixes to work with. He would make further adjustments, and we'd do the whole process again. In short: Andy wasn't finished until I was satisfied with the outcome. Highly recommended!

Along with the people above, I thought I should give some honourable mention to the software libraries or instruments that have greatly impacted the outcome of "Creation:"
